Kore Federal, a high-end information technology solutions provider that solves complex technical problems for the United States Federal Government, announced today a mentor-protégé agreement with Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Mentor-Protégé program. The DHS Mentor-Protege program fosters partnering between large business prime contractors and small, disadvantaged firms to increase business opportunities through mutually beneficial relationships. Kore Federal is the first company to participate in Raytheon’s mentor-protégé program with the DHS.
Both firms look to benefit from the developmental assistance provided by the three-year agreement. As the protégé, Kore Federal will have access to Raytheon’s proposal center and be trained on business development best practices and processes. Similarly, Raytheon has a new small business partner to pursue opportunities within Kore Federal’s existing DHS customer base. The program will translate into enhanced contracting opportunities for both Kore Federal and Raytheon IIS.
