Department of Transportation Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Office (ITS JPO) awarded Kore Federal a direct contract to provide an assessment of overall Web systems.  The Kore Federal team evaluated the architecture and design of 14 web application environments and provided a comprehensive inventory of the hardware, software, hosting providers, supporting personnel, and all of the associated costs.  The contract additionally tasked Kore Federal with creating a set of findings and recommendations for operational improvements. 

The hard work of the Kore Federal team paid off as a subsequent task order was added to develop a 3 year IT strategy and corresponding IT roadmap.  “Several of the smaller groups within the large government agencies have experienced organic IT growth without the luxury of having a comprehensive IT strategy”, said Mike Woods, Kore Federal’s COO.  “Our company has a successful track record providing guidance on best practices for designing, deploying and managing distributed internet applications and SOA environments for our government clients.”
